Seeking 12GB SAD Card for RAID10

Looking for a good SAS card to use raid10, disks I want to use are WD Gold 12TB Enterprise Class WD121KRYZ. I want to possible have a good SAS card with RAID10 support.

q1. Do you really raid battery backup these days with RAID10?
q2. Does Raid Cache really make a huge difference.

My server back plain is SAS2, so I may be stuck with a regular SAS 6GB card. I am not sure if you can adapt from SAS 6GB to SAS 12GB.

Only when you use the controllers ram for caching.

Yes, especially with parity based raids (5 & 6 and their variants 50/60)

It should be no issue to connect a SAS3 card to a SAS2 backplane;
I found that the Lenovo branded adapters are (were?) available for relatively cheap, but have not used mine at all
