    HI

    I have the SC745TQ and a X10DRi motherboard that I am doing to install 2 x E5 V4 Xeons
what the best CPU cooler options for a quiet experience. I assume I have to remove the air shroud
to put anything decent in. Also using Load Reduced DDR4 to memory quite tall.

Looking just for Air no water...

    Thanks
    Alan

    Supermicro SNK‑P0050AP4 (4u)

I use them in all my 4U as well as even my desktop that's 1' from me, and often has the side panel removed... SILENT.

I use Noctua NH-U9DX-i4 on everything I can.
The problem with SM cases are the case fans, they make the most noise.

That is a ASUS Z10PE D16 WS. There was a Supermicro X10DAX but I swapped it out long ago.
