Samsung PM983 7.68TB U.2 failure and disassembly

First time I had an SSD fail on me. Samsung PM983 7.68TB 2.5" U.2. Firmware Version EDB56W0Q.

Pool zp state is ONLINE: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected.

server nvme2: controller ready did not become 1 within 30500 ms

First owner. Power on hours <7000. Ambient 25-30C and drive idle ~45-50C with active cooling. Tried another slot / cable, nothing. No communication whatsoever.

edit: Found SMART log taken just before dying.

Right, corrected. Was already on U.3 mindset looking for replacement drives.
