I bought a case of these to build a rendering server since amd just released there new render for free I have 10 left and want about $600 each.

They are active cards so they just require pcie slot and power.

Anybody else interested?

Lot of 3 AMD Dual GPU FirePro S10000 active Graphics Card 6GB GDDR5 100-505851 | eBay heh MiniKnight just found the same. Did you get the 12G cards instead?

Bad deal or not - I guess it depends on what you are trying to render and if it is tuned to use these cards well vs. something newer/NVidia, or it scales quite linear and you can throw more cards at it to go faster. Grab some Magma PCIe extender chassis and go to town I guess.

I got tempted by the 3 for $1000 but then I looked at this TechPowerUp

That has the GTX 1060 6GB at 178% performance at lower cost and power. I don't know if that's true. Are these GCN1 or 2? If they're 2 I think they support OpenCL 2.0 not just 1.2 right?

GCN1
It is a 7990 basically... or a 7950 x2 ... ~7Tflops compute between both gpus.

If you wanted to crack passwords, these are your cards but you can get a fury for $260 right now.
