Remote Desktop Gaming on a Surface

Don't know if this is the right forum. Been reading Patrick's posts on the Microsoft Surface.

I want to play minecraft on the Surface and leave the video card in a server closet. Can you do this with Windows 8 Hyper-V? Windows Server 2012 is too expensive.

From this it looks like you can set up RemoteFX on Win8 Pro and connect to it with RemoteFX acceleration from WinRT. From my experience with RemoteFX it wouldn't get great for FPS style gaming, but minecraft should be ok.

Tried doing Civilization V using the Surface. Attempt #1 did not go so well.
