Hey I saw this while searching for a cheap 1 TB ssd (I have way too many lower capacity ssds).

It's a manufacter refurbished OCZ Intrepid 3700 Enterprise SSD. This is there Enterprise line that includes Power loss protection and Toshiba A19nm eMLC. They were released around March of 2015, so they cant be too old with too many writes can they? I don't usually trust OCZ, but it's an enterprise drive and supposedly it has 1 drive-write per day endurance for 5 years so about 1752 TB of drive writing, so it seems like it would be better for reads.

or on Newegg for $199.99:

Just throwing this out there: I've never had any problems with the three OCZ SSDs I have. 2x 400GB Deneva 2 R and a single 512GB Agilitiy 4.

Just to throw a counter point of view...

I have a 200gb Deneva 2R works fine. So I got 4x more 400GB NIB... they did not work or had performance issues, and I returned them. I repeated the purchase at another time and had issues again... never OCZ again for me.

OCZ has the worst reputation of any SSD. I know they were bought out by Toshiba but it seems like the problems are continuing. I've never owned one nor do I own one now. Their reputation is the reason.

I've been told that OCZ dumped their inventory of brand new enterprise drives as refurbished (used) because they quit enterprise market (consumers are not that picky) and this is their way to wiggle out of their warranty obligation. To get OCZ warranty you must be the original purchaser (receipt required) of a new drive. It doesn't matter that Intrepid 3700 was announced just year ago; it's now a "legacy product". Given their reputation and reliability it all makes sense.
