Hi, I am new to this forum. Recently I discovered STH's article on HP T620 Plus and I like it very much.
I am planning to build a home NAS upon it. Due to the limited internal space, I am planning to plug in an HBA card (e.g. LSI 9200-8e) to connect external hard drives. However, when I look at the specification of the HP T620 Plus, I am afraid most LSI cards cannot fit in it. For example, the dimensions of HP T620 Plus are 8.7 x 2.6 x 9.5 in, and Amazon says LSI 9200-8e is 6.3 x 2 x 10.6 in.
So I am wondering is there any HBA cards that can fit in it? I wish to have something equivalent to LSI 9200-8e (8 drives at most). I do not know if IT or IR mode matters as I will use the card to manage the drives.
