There are some horror stories in the reviews section for various capacities of this drive. Some folks evidently updated the firmware to latest and watched drive health drop to 80%. Out of the box these drives report 100% health.

Seriously, Toshiba should have suicided the brand name after they bought it. OCZ is synopsis with poop to many people.

Yeah, I never understood why they kept the name. They already made SSDs at the time when they bought OCZ and those SSDs weren't bad at all.
And it's not like Toshiba is an unknown brand in the storage domain. I still have one Toshiba SSD running in a laptop and it's plenty fast.
