I'm using ASUS P9D WS C226 chipset motherboards, and I need to attach a RAID controller to the board to build a RAID 10 volume with 8 HDDs for Windows 10.
I tried two LSI but failed. I inserted them into every PCIe slots except the yellow one because the yellow slot just only for VGAs.
1. M1115 with default firmware, 9211-8i IR firmware both don't work. Don't boot with no screen, just blinking green LED on the raid card.
2. M1215 with default firmware, 9311-8i firmware both also don't work. Symtom is the same as with M1115.
Adaptec 5805 works fine, but 5805 doesn't support UEFI.
If you have any experience with P9D WS, please let me know which RAID controller that supports UEFI is compatible with P9D WS. Price also be important matter.
