There's a US based seller with QSFP28 100G DAC cables (PDF datasheet) selling a lot of 5 for $50 (best offer available) with free shipping:Screenshot 2024-04-08 22.08.20.png

From what I can tell from the datasheet, they're 1m cables, but the Molex part number (1002973003) also seems to refer to 3m cables?

$10/each seems like a pretty good price for QSFP28 DAC cables rated for 100G. Seller currently has more than 10 lots available.

I think this is a good deal, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong and QSFP28 cables are actually always this cheap. I don't have anything that can barf packets at 100G

That certainly looks more like 3m than 1, it's probably meant more for rack-to-rack cabling than intra-rack.

Shame, that that's a good price, but that much extra cabling would cause a pretty big mess in the rack.

This same seller had sold similar cables before which sold out very quickly.

I am not sure they're the same seller. They do have the same logo, and background for their photos, but the seller in the other thread claims to be in Georgia, and this one is in Florida.

Although these are $50/5, so double the price of the other seller's offer.

Oh wow I didn't even notice the different name. I just saw the logo and background and assumed- I didn't even compare lol.

WTF is going on with that? Same logo. Same background. Somehow different sellers? Whut.o_O

Their seller pages both show them as:

Then beware of this seller and don't expect to actually get your order. For me he cancelled 60% of my order on the other deal

Dang sorry to hear that. I'm super excited to have gotten 5 cards and cables for so cheap over the past 2 days right now. I can't believe I'm going to (attempt) to hit 100. I'll be lucky to hit 30s I now fear . Bad eBay sellers are really a downer, sending you insane offer accepted vibes.

As a large company ebay will still not let you bypass the 200/500/1000/1500/2000/3000 etc increments of getting up your sales limit.
If you are starting out today it still takes years to get decent sales limits.

If you are at lets say 2000 they have no problem with giving you 5 more accounts all starting at 2000, but bypassing increments and getting your single account inreased to 10 000 is no go.
Thats why you see some companie split hdd, servers, networking etc into seperate accounts.
