Yes, don't buy them. QLogic was bought by broadcom; there's no drivers for newer systems (win2016+ or rhel 8+), or are very buggy.

QLogic is Marvell, not Broadcom. Drivers and Firmware get updates more or less regularly, last one for 41xxx is from 12/06/22, latest Windows Drivers support Server 2012 - Server 2022

I use some of them with 4x SFP+ in different Proxmox Hosts and they work flawlessly.

There's are newer drivers for these. They're definitely still supported:
  • qevbda 8.72.15.0 dated 6/10/24 for the base device
  • qenda 8.72.1.0 dated 5/9/23 for the Ethernet function
  • the rest haven't been updated in a while
We also got firmware package 16.20.00 this year from Dell. The HPE-branded adapters just got another update 1-2 months ago (even newer than Dell).
