I am looking at using the Intel S2600TPR for a project and am wondering how I will power it since it doesn't have your standard power supply connector. It has a 2 x Mini fit Jr. connectors that are 6 pins each, pins 1-3 are ground and pins 4-6 are +12v. Can I use a standard power supply and rewire it using just the ground and +12v leads? Do I need a custom power supply?

Thanks for the link menelmacar, it has some useful information.

However I'm trying to power these boards outside of an intel chassis so those power boards won't work for my application.

I looks like there is a backup/auxiliary power connector on the motherboard for use when in a third party chassis. So I asked if there is an adapter to connect the power and aux power to a standard atx power supply on the intel community forum and they asked what power supply I'm using. So we'll see what they come up with.

The intel support community replied saying that all in need to do is supply 6 positive 12v lines and 6 ground lines to two molex 2x3 minifit jr power connectors. Should I be able to power this board with a normal atx power supply re wired to the minifit jr power connectors?
