Can someone point me to a good method/script for performance testing dual port SAS SSD's?

Would fio (just like for regular local drives) work in your situation?

If you want to see the benefits of multipathing then you o/c should do measurements with a single connection too to see the differences.

fio results are hard to parse on my 8 disk RAID10 zpool of dual port SSDs.

If you run on Truenas you can use json out and json_pp to convert into a Perl Dumper output you can read in to get a Perl hash.... if you speak perl to make use of it

(If you run on TNC i also can provide my pool_test perlscript, but its not really for the faint of heart as its neither (completely) finished nor end user friendly, but it does automate pool or dataset testing - fio only mode pending unfortunately).

This looks super helpful. However it seems to only measure latency and IOPS. I'm more focused on throughput. I guess i'll have to see how I can modify the script.

In napp-it my default performance benchmark is Filebench where you can select use cases with the option to compare singlestream vs 5stream tests.
