I'm trying to make a decision between the following PCIE SSDs

HGST VIRIDENT FLASHMAX II M2-LP-1100-2B PCIe SSD SOLID STATE FLASH DRIVE 1.1TB
vs
F00-001-1T20-CS-0001 1.2TB Fusion iO ioDrive2 MLC PCIe Solid-State Drive SSD

Both are around 500$

The idea is to replace one of the following Volumes used as a VMware Datastore (Both are in a raid 5)

4X HGST HITACHI Ultrastar SSD400M 400GB SAS 6GB SSD 2.5″ HUSML4040ASS600 (SSD DataStore)

4X SAMSUNG SM843T 480GB SATA3 2.5″ SSD INTERNAL SOLID STATE ENTERPRISE DRIVE LAPTOP (SSD DataStore 2)

Specs for HGST VIRIDENT

Well, if you planning on running high demand IOPs applications, then you have to get suitable drives for it. Make sure you pay attention to already written amount. Some of used drives are close to its maximum specified in specs.
