OmniOS: Does OmniOS have man pages?

Hi

Looking for man pages in OmniOS is less than satisfying. Is there some kind of pkg base I'm missing in my install?

root@napp-it01:~# man sharectl

No manual entry for sharectl

Boo. There's all these commands I don't recognize because I have basically no experience with Solaris. Man pages would definitely be helpful.

There are man pages (ex man zfs) for most commands. If you miss an Illumos feature, ask at maillist Illumos discuss Mailing Lists - illumos where the devs are around.

For sharctl you can use the manuals from Oracle (Illumos and Solaris are quite identical up to Solaris 11.2) as Illumos is a fork of the last OpenSolaris from which Oracle published Solaris 11 Express/11.1 a short time later. Main difference was ZFS encryption thta was not yet ready on OpenSolaris.

Oh jeez I'm sorry I think I forgot to hit 'save' when I was editing my post

I found out it was pointing to the wrong manpath in my .profile due to a pkgsrc installation
