OmniOS and Chelsio T420

I thought OmniOS had support for the 10GB NIC Chelsio T420 ? It doesn't show up tho.
I'm running FreeNas on this box so the NIC it self is working fine.

how did you get t420 to work in freenas?

FreeBSD has built in drivers for Chelsio T420. but T420 is on OmniOs HCL so I thought it wuold work just fine there too.

Been awhile since I've been on Solaris/clones, but did you check prtconf? Might have to plumb the adapter.

Now I need to see what I can do about the iperf speed, 4.5 Gbit out of the box frmo my windows machine.


same windows to linux running the t420 I can get 6-7 Gbit. I need more tuning here.

Have you tried to install the driver via pkg install cxgbe

Yes, see my post above, I just didn't know that you had to manually install the drivers. It working fine now thnx!
Playing around with lx zones right now, trying to get every setup correct.
