That's like saying that one can use an LGA-2066 Xeon CPU in an LGA-2011 Xeon motherboard just because they have the same physical shape and footprint and the same base pad array matrix dimensions in "x pads by y pads". They are NOT and just looking at the heat spreaders, pad patterns on the contact faces and the keying notch positions should tell all one would need to know about them as far as intercompatibility is concerned. Good article. :)

ADDENDUM: I attempted to post this comment on the main page, but the "Post Comment" button is somehow broken and the post does not go through. I am writing this here because every other attempt to reach out to Patrick Kennedy has seemingly been "ghosted" or otherwise ignored. It almost seems as if the STH web team is either not interested in ensuring the site and all its features are working as intended OR they are completely MIA/AWOL and not replying to any input or feedback, either via Facebook OR Kennedy's own email account. VERY AGGRAVATING and NOT a good look for ANY business, firm, company or organization to just ignore their customers or followers' complaints of things not working.
