It would be courteous to notify a member when one of their posts is removed. Including the reason would assist the member in understanding what boundaries he/she crossed so it could be avoided in the future.

I had a liked post removed this week without notification. It was in the crypto forum and I was being pointing out the problematic nature of cryptocurrencies, so I can understand there being a reason. However, I think I was polite.

The reason could be as simple as saying my post wasn't relevant as I am not mining.
