This lists $147.25 before BO and automatically takes $5 off over $100, so essentially makes it $142.25 before BO.

Same claims for new disk, and carries 1 year warranty.

Link here.

esisoinc is a good seller (i bought from him popular E5-2670v1)

But i have 2 issues:
- He send only to confirmed paypal address (i can't use a forwarder like shipito)
- Theses disks are used and not new.

These disks are too old and have probably seen too much use to be a good buy for the price, I would rather get 2 TB for ~45-58 bucks that have manufac. date within the last 2 years with less than 1000 POH.

Listing title says 1 year warranty, actual listing text says 90 day warranty.

Listing title says WD4001FYYG, drives on the right side of picture are all Seagate, drives on the left side look like HGST, though I can't say for sure.

I've run into this a lot, where the seller doesn't correctly identify what they're selling. I'd stay away.

As for the first listing, I can't tell what the drives are (bad picture) but that is not factory packaging.

Now there's a leading question :D

Everyone has their favourite disk of choice, but I only use HGST Ultrastars now. You can often get them refurbished/ clean pulls at reasonable money from the likes ebay/ various IT recyclers and there's plenty of suppliers for new ones.

New 3TB SAS disks from Amazon are reasonable money just now: Amazon.com: HGST Ultrastar 3.5-Inch 3TB 7200RPM SAS 6Gbps 64MB Cache Enterprise Hard Drive 3 SAS 64 MB Cache 3.5 Internal Bare or OEM Drives (HUS723030ALS640): Computers & Accessories

I haven't really looked for 4TB ones for a while now, all the decent deals I have found are on the 3TB disks :)
