Hey all, i just got a used server at a nice price. After fixing up all the little quirks that have been popping up like the fans both running at 100% due to some sort of fault it seems they have leveled out. Fan 1 runs at 3k RPM and fan 2 runs at 1k RPM. I would like to try and balance them out to be both around 2k at "idle" and ramp up accordingly. How in the hell do I manage that with sdr. Looking at the file it's just a massive amount of information.
The server has:
p4000 server chasis
S2600CP2J mobo
I have updated all the firmware for the bios, bmc, me, etc.
Where should i look in the S2600CP.sdr file to modify the fans? I know when i updated the SDR it sometimes found the chasis as the "non redundant fan" type and other times it couldnt determine it and had me tell it what fans were enabled and such.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
