I'm a newbie in this area, have a home/3 apartment scenario , got fed up of problems with
off the shelf network gear and have purchased the following :
- cisco AIR-CAP3502i-E-K9 (4 pieces / 1 per floor)
- cisco SG 300-28 switch
- fanless i3 7100U/16GB mini pc with 6 lan ports
- have an ESXI server

Would appreciate recommendation on following :
(a)Would it be wiser to
- run pfsense directly on the mini-pc hardware, cisco virtual wireless controller (VM)
on the ESXI server
OR
- run ESXI on the mini pc with both pfsense + cisco virtual wireless controller as VM's

(b)Is there anything special I need to consider when buying the SSD to run
the two VM's - does it have to have power loss data protection eg Intel
S3500 , more write intense type eg S3700 (I guess 80GB/120GB
would be well overkill) ?
