n5095, n5105 or n6005

Planning of buying a small Proxmox, OPNsense server but something newer than the j4125 and 10nm.

Any reason to go with the more expensive n6005 or n51005 over the n5095 besides small cpu max hz difference?

To me they look more or less identical....??

Depends on your workload.

   How much throughput are you expecting with OPNsense/how fast is your internet?
   
   
2. J4125 will have a max RAM of 8GB, and N6005 can go up to 16GB - are you running anything else on this box, except OPNsense?

I think the three processors being offered by Topton (N5095, N5105 or N6005) are pretty much identical except:

• clocks on the CPUs (~10% more throughput)
• GPU (750mhz w/16 execution units vs 900mhz with 32 execution units

One note: it looks like Topton is currently impacted by the lockdown in China. They are accepting orders on Ali but they do not appear to be making shipments at this time.

I think all of them support 32gb if you look at the spec sheet.
