Hi, I post thread since I'm so curious about CPU compatibility.
Recently I got X11SCL-iF mobo, so I wanted to replace my server X10SDV-4C-TLN2F with this motherboard.
Wanted 8 core, but coffee Lake Xeon 8 core will costs a fortune to me.
And I found E-2286M which costs below $ 150, which has been modified by BGA to LGA kit in Aliespress.
It shares same microcode with E-2286G (906ED - R0), and it's neither ES or QS.
Is it possible to use E-2286M in Supermicro motherboard?
