I have seen that Microtik released a newer r2 version with Jumbo Frame support.

Given that, is there any reason to choose one over the other? Cost is about the same for both, the Microtik might be slightly better available.

I am looking to convert a Mellanox 40G port into SFP+ via MAM1Q00A-QSA-SP and that into Ethernet via one of the above adapters.
The port is actively cooled, but o/c i am not sure how much air will pass through the 40g adapter...
