For those of us with Windows Update turned off:

Microsoft issues emergency update to fix critical IE flaw under active exploit

"Windows users should ensure their computer installs the update as soon as possible, even if they don't normally use IE to browse sites."

This update includes Windows Server 2008, 2012R2, 2016 and 2019.

Until the next exploit...

Using registry edits etc, my usual norm is to completely remove IE and Edge from Windows installs, just makes life so much simpler to have locked down portable Firefox browsers with remote management on LAN nodes. Never was a fan of 'fat' OSes.
