it could be me.. but it seems there is much more to this.. that isn't mentioned in the article.. such as.. there's a Windows 11 that runs on that CPU.. (showing interest in ARM from the Windows client team outside of the Qualqom space (remember we are still waiting for Windows 11 on M1 chips..) as well as a Windows Server 2022 .. apart from some Linux versions that might be able to utilize this.. in short - it allows for a whole new level of VM's to be deployed on fairly cheap hardware but still being able to serve end-users and server workloads.. and could be the future for IaaS

The VMs currently in preview support Canonical Ubuntu Linux, CentOS, and Windows 11 Professional and Enterprise Edition on Arm. Support for additional operating systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Debian, AlmaLinux, and Flatcar is on the way.
