I am missing the top bar on the main site also. Chrome 20 on Linux. EDIT: Looks like it did from the two screencaps yesterday, but the articles are still there.

I also often can't see any text on the forum in the reply boxes; it has been happening for a few days. It could be a problem on my side though.

Very interesting. The forums were not changed at all.

On the main site, I can't reproduce. :-( One thing I'm worried about is browser cache.

I am getting the same main site problem with FF 15.0.1 on Linux.

Ignore my problem with the forum, it is Chrome.

I do tinker a bit on weekends, especially this weekend.

When the forums move to vB5 (after a few patches) hopefully they will be a bit faster. Took awhile for Amazon CloudFront CDN to re-sync. To get it working with W3TC (yes back) I had to change the setup.

nginx is fairly efficient. I really like it. Total memory consumption on the new setup is up to 2.9GB. The old server only had 1.7GB total so a lot less disk swap which is helping performance along with 2x the CPU power.

Everything should be working now. Good news is that the main site Core i3-3240 post went live when it was supposed to.

OK. Turned off CDN :-(

Hopefully that fixes it.

I managed to do in-private in IE 8 and got it to do the same bug.

Firefox 15.0.1. Looks exactly like the screenshot posted by sboesch above. It can't be browser cache - I was building a new machine last night and tried it on a completely virgin install with the exact same result.

Mind trying again using in-private?

I think turning off the CDN just brought it back.

Thanks guys! So answer seems to be no-CDN and it works. Very odd.

What exactly are you running ?

We don't have any fancy pancy CDN and still chug out about 10TB of drivers a month and a forum.
Below is my pimp ride coming up in Busiest time (had to remove some green ticks as post limit met)
I even forgot new server has 16GB RAM not 8GB as previous.

Yup. Broken again. Same as before - nav bar at the top is missing.

Not cached - double checked that.

Firefox 15.0.1
