Hi. I've built in the past few True NAS servers. The one bad thing is that all was based on 1G networking.
Now when I'm i.e. uploading my daily work it takes some time. I think that I will put 4x SSD in the RAID10 - might be SATA (4x) or NVME(4x4 PCIE card).
Looking for some balanced motherboard + CPU combo (can be SoC) that will be capable to upload/download with 10Gb speeds and on the other hand will not consume lot of electricity (24/7/365 work).
As this is mainly used for work budget can be normal doesn't have to be cheap but it would be good not to break the bank.
Any suggestions? New Xeon Ds or something different?
