I'm doing a demo/teaching project with a small pile of Odriods. I've got it all built and am running with a small TP-Link un-managed switch. Part of the goal is to demo some more advanced network methods and I need vLAN support.
Looking for pointers to a small, 5-8 port GigE managed switch with 5-volt power. Nothing fancy. All I need is simple L2 VLAN support.
Lots of options out there for un-managed switches with 5v power. But all of the managed options I can find run from 12v (or the MikroTik, which will run as low as 8v).
I know I could just run the switch off a wall-wart, but I'm looking for something that is more "neat" when all packaged up. I could also put a small up-converter in the project box with the power supply but I'd rather not.
