I am looking for a 100G switch used for my homelab.
Does anyone have any recommended models?
Also, are switches with an Atom C2000 cpu worth buying because of the bug they have?

Cheap? Mikrotik.

A Mellanox SNxxxx would likely be the best performance/$ option, depending upon how many ports you need, though. See the tips ‘n tricks thread for more on those.

Arista is my personal favorite, but they’re more power hungry (assuming that matters to you).

Power consumption and noise is not a concern.
Also need minimum of 6 ports at 100G.

You should define a budget, with those requirements and "cheap" it is difficult to access your expectations.

Tall order :)

I've seen a Dell Z9100-ON on ebay for $400 USD (no PSU or fans), but you can purchase those for about $40 a pop.

Is your Z9100 manufactured after 2018, asking because of the Atom c2000 bug. Wanted to know if this switch is affected by that?

i bought this one Dell EMC Switch S4112F 12 X 10GBE SFP+3X100GBE EBAY the seller accepts offers and i offered 400€ and we went up to 500€ where we met :D so its worth a try. Its brand new and the license on it is unlimeted. *edit* i overead the 6 Port 100GBe part, this one has "just" 3 100GbE Ports"

What transceivers or dacs have you been using?

I'm contemplating buying one of those for my home lab but not sure about dell/os10 vendor lock on transceivers or dacs.
