I have 8 Mac Pros(2013, TrashCa) connected to a CKL-9116H 16- port usb 2.0 and HDMI KVM (press button to move between machines). The video works but the keyboard and mouse do not, I tried an apple keyboard and mouse and a PC keyboard and mouse but both are a no go. When the apple keyboard and mouse is directly connected to the machine it works fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!!!

Are you using the included 5v PSU? Looks like it uses enough energy (7.5w) that it won't power from one of the connected computers, even if you run a separate power cable from one of the Mac's USB ports to the power connector on the switch.

Dumb questions...Keyboard and/or mouse are NOT connected to the "HUB" USB port? If you've got the wired remote connected, you're only switching via the wired remote? Wired remote locks out the other switching methods.

Yes using with the included ac adapter.

Not using a USB hub. keyboard and mouse connected directly to the KVM.

This model doesn’t have a wired remote. It has a button above the led power indicator for each system.

The funny thing is that the HDMI works, it’s just the usb that’s not working.
