Hey All,

So I am setting up a workstation for my homelab (and for my son/wife to use). I have a few sources. 1) Raspberry Pi (HDMI) 2) Intel NUC or Mini Mac (HDMI, MiniDP, DP) 3) VGA x 2 (SuperMicro IPMI Consoles) 4) QNAP LinuxStation (HDMI)

Ideally I'd like to connect all of these to a monitor. The monitor I am looking at is a Samsung 28" 4k LCD without speakers. It has a DP and HDMI connections.

The question is what KVM can I get that (with adapters) to actually connect all of those devices to that monitor. I'd also like to have a set of speakers from connected also.

I was looking at the Avocent SV240 KVMs in either DisplayPort or HDMI. Although I'm not sure which, nor how to connect the HDMI devices to DisplayPort KVM and vice versa....or how to tie the VGA into this....

Oh... and I need to support audio and speakers... (not built in to the monitor)....

I could use a little guidance here....

Thanks!
