Greetings everyone,

I decided to take the plunge into the Juniper world and recently just purchased a Juniper EX3300 for my lab environment.

I could use hand getting the latest firmware for the switch particularly 12.3R12-S17 ... if you could please lend a hand, that would be upmost appreciated!

Many thanks!

You'll need to install the updated firmware first, then install the updated JWeb. The checksums come the Junos website.

That's unwarranted in this case. The signatures are available on Juniper's website and while you can pay to have faster downloads, you can still obtain the package.

Besides if the signatures don't match JunOS won't install the firmware anyway. In this case the MD5 an SHA1 signatures match.

Only for the EX2200. JTAC recommends either 12.3 or 15.1 on the EX4200 for example. Probably due to larger memory requirements. The link I referenced talks about that.
