I'v been looking for a reasonably prices Lenovo SA120 for a while but havent been able to find any in Europe.. and shipping/customs from the us just ruins the thing.

So im hoping someone can help me with alternatives that are possible to aquire 2nd hand in Europe ..

Main thing is noise and depth - my case is only 60cm deep with maybe 45cm to use front to back of case

I see quite a few Xyratex JBODs on ebay - all 6gbps but might be fine for you - not sure if they are short enough for you? They are supposed to be pretty quiet for a JBOD.

The other option is to buy a case and one of those Supermicro jbod boards / an expander etc i.e. make your own.
