I have a HP ProDesk 400 G6 Desktop Mini PC and I love the fact that it's still getting Bios and other updates from HP but every time I get a mandatory bios update via windows 11, I loose dual boot to Ubuntu. Is there a way to update bios without losing the linux uefi boot manager? i.e. some setting in bios?

You probably don't _lose_ it, it's just Microsoft asserting their dominance and setting the Windows Boot Manager as the default choice. You just need to go into the BIOS settings and tell it to boot by default from the partition where grub is installed and it will revert to how you want it.
