4 around this size would fill up some sata ports on my duck tape workstation and make my vms a great deal smoother than the 2 spinny disks I'm using now.

Having swapped out the PC Power & Cooling monster for a modern 1 kilowatt atx psu this week I can hear the sound of my cpu fans for the first time....

I'll be sticking it all in a tin can shortly which will help



and the cpu fans will get this treatment

I have no experience with water cooling but don't think I'd trust it in a server running 24/7. Especially if it's in a rack.

There's no discussion about it water cooling requires more maintenance... def. not something to build and let run for years w/out touching :*(

The real problem with rack water cooling would be the pump. You would definitely want redundant pumps but otherwise it's not that complicated. A single 120 rad and fan is generally adequate for a single cpu.
