The intel return e-mail / details mention UPS, and International but nothing about requiring UPS for within US.

I had planned to use USPS Priority to get it to them ASAP -- anyone done this or is it only UPS?

Thanks :)

I would think USPS is OK (never had to RMA an Intel part before). I've done it with either WD or Seagate using USPS instead of UPS

I sent them parts via fedex a week or so ago and just got my new stuff back, I think anything with tracking is ok really.

I'll give them credit for good service too, I sent 3 compute sticks back because they failed and got full retail kits back(with win10 instead of 8.1 so that's a nice upgrade with how difficult the compute sticks are to upgrade)

When I RMA'd a NUC, the chat agent told me that USPS only delivers on certain days of the week to the RMA center, while UPS and FedEx deliver every day (or weekday). Not sure how that works, but I went with UPS. Did USPS end up delivering?

I wasn't able to drop it off until today :)

Priority, so hopefully Monday/Tuesday I'll know!

I upgraded both of my compute sticks without hitch.

I just ran the media creation tool.

now that update they release a few weeks ago, that totally borked the stick and required reinstall (but since I upgraded previously i just plugged in a USB stick. (Windows USB stick from a retail box)

The sticks they sent came with win10 build 10.0.10240 which works fine I cloned it several of my pre existing ones without issue(I have 15 sticks running digital signage throughout my office) build 10.0.10586 fails both on an upgrade from 10240 and using the media creation tool fails either by hanging at some point during the upgrade process or locking up once windows loads(I can log in and have about 15 seconds of functionality)

That being said i'm happy with the sticks and intel overall we had an android/arm solution before that was impossible to work with and i'm very much looking forward to the cherry trail sticks with the intel wifi in them.

Yeah, I got it back within days of them receiving it, and listed it for sale here since I don't need it any longer.

In the e-mail they should have sent a URL to check status.
