this isn't a good price. Good price is $20 for that card.

Yep, I got those dells and HP NC360Ts in the low $20s a few years ago. You should be able to find quad 8257x nics for around 40 now. Even knockoff/clone i350 quads have been 50 or less lately.

You can even step up to mellanox 10Gbe / 40Gb IB for under 50 bucks
