There's been another, maybe it was this one that was the same setup for $319, maybe he lowered price...

I think a TON of people are holding off updating to anything right now with a really big jump on the horizon in performance soon.

I've seen a LOT of dumping of SSD lately, and been surprised no one is BIN some sit for DAYS.

I just wnat to know if we have any chance of seeing smaller file performance anytime soon... on SATA or PCIE, as a DIMM I'm sure this will be a monster improvement.

Ive been wondering, being as the 2.5" version of the intel 750 ssd comes with a SFF-8639 to SFF-8643 (mini sas) adapter, can you connect this drive directly to a SAS3 Raid card such as an adaptec 8805? (i have an adaptec 8805, so ive been curious)?

anyone know?
tks

Physically, yes. Electrically, it will not work and you should not do this.

Thank you so much for posting this so quickly Patrick , I had an Intel 750 SSD PCIE ordered that was coming in today, but for some reason Amazon sent me the 2.5 inch version of the 750 (I definitely ordered the PCI E so it's being returned / swapped).

Had I not seen your quick reply earlier this morning I definitely would've tried the incorrectly sent 2.5" 750 on my Adaptec raid card and its Intel expander via one of the sff ports. Tks again!

Just stumble on this message while searching for something.
Hope I didn't cause any damage when I used the
Dell cable on H310 to connect and test couple of the used ZeusIOPS drives I got.

Why would that cause issue?
