The internals are very similar to their D4040 10G/40G switch. The difference of course is the DX010 riser PCB is deeper and requires 8-phase power instead of 6. Data plane PCB has the same thickness. I had no trouble using an Innodisk mSATA which was the brand used on the originals. Instead of a 16G I used a 32G model.

My only complaint about Celestica is they don't provide any documentation publically nor do they even provide datasheets on their "older" switches. Just trying to find specifications about something like a D3020 is impossible unless you know someone who has a business relationship with them. I was curious why a D3020 was $1500 on eBay while their latest for that series is a D3030 (48 25G/8 100G).
