Hello,

I have an IBM x3650 M4 running, that i wanted to use for at test lab.
The server is configured with an Intel Xeon E5-26xx CPU, 48GB Mem (6*8GB).
For storage the server is configured with 6*1TB SAS - 7K - Raid 5 disks, and 1*240GB Intel SSD (520 and 540 series) in Raid 1.
The SAS Raid 5 is still initializing (if thats important).

Ive installed VMware ESXi 6.0 U2 on the host, but quickly came to the conclusion, that the performance for the SSD raid is extremely slow...
When creating a Eager Zeroed disk in VMware, i get approx 15-20MB/s at best, with a latency of 700-1000ms
Both Raids is configured with write through, because the Raid battery is missing.

I believe ive tried everything, but before dumping the server at the nearest dumpster, i wanted to ask if someone could help me, figure out why i get so shitty performance.
