Looking for suggestions for a small, quiet server to host a PowerVault TL1000 autoloader.

Needs to have:

- 10GbE built-in, OR an x8 slot (I have a X540 on hand), can be copper or SFP+
- SAS 12Gb built-in, OR an x8 slot
- Windows 11 supported CPU generation (no hacks)
- Storage doesn't matter, just need a boot drive

Form factor: I'd rather not use 1U unless it's unusually quiet for a 1U. Something like an HP Microserver (which won't work because it only has 1 slot).

Surplus/refurb/eBay OK.

Do you need ECC? If not you could just roll your own typical consumer mobo with two pcie slots. Or pre-builts like Lenovo p340/350/360 tower.

If you need ECC I'd recommend the ASRock x470d4u for ddr4 ECC or the am5 version which both can have onboard 10gb. I believe there are 1u servers on ebay with this board but it's going to be loud. For Intel the best option seems to be the Asus w680 with i5-12600k which both support ddr5 ECC.
