Hyper V Virtual Switch Problem!

Hi Guys,

I have installed Hyper V and was struggling with network connectivity on a newly created VM. I came across the following tutorial for Hyper V and followed: 3.0 Create a Virtual Switch
Hyper-V virtualization - Setup and Use in Windows 10

All seems to have worked ok as I get the same as the tutorial (see attached 'V switch' image)

Although on my VM I get the attached ('VM network')

Trying to run this via WIFI & non available. Please advise how what I have missed trying to get a network connection on this VM.

RESOLVED: I had not assigned the switch to the VM (I created the vm first so needed to revisit the setup)
