I have two Quanta QSSC-2ML servers with DA0S2MMB8B0 motherboard and 2 x E5 - 2650 CPU. They were very cheap to buy.
Because of the BIOS bugs (and lack of BIOS updates) in order to use them with ProxMox (PM by default creates GPT with EFI and BIOS/boot partition which DA0S2MMB8B0 BIOS can not boot automatically) I would need an also cheap HW RAID card, with cache and battery for 4 3TB SAS or SATA drives.
I was looking at: Adaptec 5405Z RAID.

I think it should work with DA0S2MMB8B0, but I am not sure.
Do you have any other suggestions or have you tried any other (LSI?) HW RAIDs with this server?
