Hi,

does anyone know if in a HPE DL380 Gen10 with U.2 NVMe bay there are restrictions on the NVMe storage (brand, type, HP firmware)?
Can I use i.e Micron 7450 Pro/Max; Samsung PM983; Kingston DC, Intel P series?

Will a U.3 unit be compatible even in a U.2 slot?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

How to Raid thats U.2 NVMe on DL380 Gen10? My U.2 always showing white led (means do not remove) after doing software Raid by Windows Server 2019 via Disk Management, how to avoid that white led as Hardware Raid by P408i with SAS / Sata drive?

I am running Samsung pm983a on DL380 Gen10 without any issues. Another Samsung via a $10 PCIe adaptor (wouldn't say contriller, there are just wires on a PCB) as a boot drive. Works flawlessly, no BIOS tweaking or settings needed.
