I just picked up a HPE CL2200 Gen10 barebones server as my new home lab server. I bought a Gold 6148 cpu and I have 12x 16gb DDR4 ECC DIMMs. I installed everything correctly but I'm having an issue with the server booting. I managed to get into the BMC and I'm seeing all of the old config still there, dual 6130s and 24 8gb DIMMs. I tried to do a factory reset and a BIOS update but the config is still stuck there. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't get into the BIOS since it's stuck sitting at "Memory Initialization" as it looks for the prior config I assume.

have you ES CPU ?
have you RDIMM ? only ECC not working.
Only after successfull POST(BIOS passes all tests) the inventory is updated (by the BIOS)

I have a full retail CPU, not marked QS or Confidential anywhere.

As far as the RAM goes, I'm using IBM 16GB (2GX72 2RX4) PC4-17000 2133 LP RDIMM DDR4 FRU:46W0798

Looks like it's an RDIMM but the RAM may be the issue.

I looked into the HPE part numbers that are listed for this server, but I'd rather not spend a ton of money to get those specific ones when I could get compatible non HPE branded RAM. If you know of any part numbers or links to decently priced RAM on eBay or something that would be really helpful!

Maybe this would work? Micron MTA36ASF4G72PZ-2G6D1 32GB 2RX4 PC4-2666V Server Memory | eBay

i expect you have properly inserted the processor.
check without any RAM, then just with two in P0_A0 / P0_B0 and so on.
