HPE 620QSFP28 in a normal PC?

Hey all together, there is an Articel which stated that this NIC only boots with HP servers but in the comments section of that article a few are saying that it works outside HP servers bubble.

I want to ask if any body has succes using this NIC in a normal PC?

yes , try it on desktop pc two years ago, it works, but power hungry ~29w?

Thank you very much i bit the bullet my system works like charm. The HP HPE 620QSFP28 wont work with RouterOS but did work just fine with VyOs!

try different FEC setting, maybe it will work with routeros
