I have Windows Server 2019 (evaluation) installed on a HP T630, and been trying to see if I can get it to hibernate after a certain amount of time spent idle.
However, it looks like hibernation is not enabled by the bios. When I type "powercfg /a", it reports:

Hibernate
The system firmware does not support hibernation.

I have tried flipping various options in the bios, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Does anybody know if it's just not possible for the T630?

Unfortunately that is not true. Windows Server 2019 hibernates fine on other computers, as long as you enable hibernation with "powercfg /hibernate on".

So I'm wondering if it's just not possible for the T630, or if it's some specific settings in the bios preventing it.
