I've picked up a used ml30 Gen9 it came with 1 drive with windows 10 installed. When the system started it the fan was at normal levels in windows.
So no firmware had been updated since 2016. So I got the latest SSP pack which updated everything to 2021. Popped in a new drive and installed ms server 2019 via intelligent provisioning.
But now the fan just sits at 50% even in windows. I swapped back the old drive and the fan is sat at 50% in there to.
I've set the power management via ilo to os management but will no joy.
