$90 for a v3 xeon with igpu is pretty good price.

My 4 HP 800 G1 came, all 4 in good shape, low mileage, I install 4 x I5-4570, all 4 machines fire up first try.
Yeah, mine was in good shape too. The network BIOS update is pretty slick too, just fire it off and it'll fetch a DHCP address and download any BIOS updates directly from HP.

With i5, i7 or Xeon (processors that support vPro), AMT can be onfigured on these PCs with onboard LAN which has features similar to BMC/IPMI - remote console, power control and ability to remotely mount media. It's highly unsecure though.

Edit: more info here

@arglebargle great find really! Do you by any DDR3 ECC UDIMMs that you also can test? Another thing is even such DDR3 ECC UDIMMs "works", we need to verify that it's actually correcting errors :)
In any case, thanks for you finding and sharing!

You'd have to check with @Marsh, I don't have any ECC UDIMMs on hand to test with.

Any luck with that PCIe root ARI/ASC implementation?
I looked earlier and it looks like a swing and a miss on both features, either the Q87 bridge doesn't support them or the BIOS doesn't expose code to activate.

The 800 G1 looks like it has a standard AMI Aptio BIOS though so I'm going to see what's in there that's not exposed by default. I figure it's worth at least checking out before giving up.

It looks like the BIOS is HP customized AMI, not Aptio. I'm not sure how to take it apart.

I have a Z220 (C216 chipset) that I picked up cheap coming this week. If that actually has ARI support then I'll pick up a cheap-ish Z230 barebones (C226 based) since I'm already sitting on the compatible V3 CPU I bought to test this machine.

I need to offload some of these cheap machines, I'm swimming in test units right now.
